MechWarrior: Living Legends By the 31st century, humanity has spread to thousands of worlds, while a handful of powerful empires wage. We have since moved to a larger building in South Daytona. MWLL depicts the epic struggles between the two factions of Battletech 'The Clans' and 'The Inner Sphere' In the project we will be bringing some of the legends of MechWarrior back to life. Hopefully, we are keeping alive the dream of those early legends who started this museum. Coffee, so a case of coffee was delivered to us that week courtesy of Junie and Hills Bros.! Accumulate knowledge in amounts where we make the people bounce with the music in surround. The Museum was opened the week before Speed Week, so in the days ahead, we had guests including Raymond & Violet Parks, Jack Smith, Wanda Lund, J.B. Yes yall, were moving at the speed of life. Day to day I have to make all sorts of choices about what is good and important and fun. I am now 33 years old, and it feels like much time has passed and is passing faster and faster every day. If everything seems under control, you're not going fast enough. That display has been replicated at our present museum, and is still on loan from June Wendt. There is more to life than simply increasing its speed. These were owned by Doug Harvey, which later on was owned by June Wendt. Our premier display was that of a replica of Red Vogt’s race shop with his original tools and equipment. Ray Fox did a demonstration of the Fish Carburetor, which was a favorite for years on end. The city officials of Holly Hill came out for the ribbon cutting. Glenn McGlone led the crew that did the cleaning and painting, and of course John Peoples was our official photographer. Present that day were Ray Fox, David Fox, Mad Marion McDonald, Joe Epton, Marvin & Bettie Panch, Doug Harvey, Olin Hopes and a host of others.

WESH- TV reporter Ron Kendrick was on hand to interview the Legends. Dan Pardus had his racecar on display in front of the museum. Hal Marchman was on hand to offer his blessing to the new museum. On February 9, 2001, after much work and planning, a dream was finally realized - the Living Legends of Auto Racing had the grand opening of their new museum at 253 Riverside Drive in Holly Hill, Florida.
